I am Rajiv Saxena retired from the Department of Forest, Govt. of M. P. in the year 2015. During my tenure of more than 35 years, in addition to my parent department of Forest, I also had the opportunities to work on deputation in the departments of Women and Child Development, Commerce and Industries, Rural Development and Forest Development Corporation. I was the Project Director of the World Bank aided Swashakti Project... a rural women's empowerment initiative in M. P. This project was adjudged as the best performing project consequently for three years out of similar projects being run in 15 other states of the country. Similarly, I was the State Coordinator of the M. P. Rural Livelihoods Project which was funded by the Govt. of United Kingdom for the department of Rural Development, Govt. of M. P. In the department of Commerce and Industries, I was General Manager in M. P. State Industries Corporation. In my parent department of Forest, I was posted in its various sections like Social Forestry, MIS Cell, HRD Cell and Joint Forestry Management section. My areas of interest are HRD, Livelihoods enhancement, Women Empowerment, Good Governance etc.

I have travelled to quite a few countries in connection with trainings on various issues like Climate change, Livelihoods Initiatives, Gender Sensitivity etc.
